Rope Access is a form of work positioning, initially developed from techniques used in climbing and caving, which applies practical rope work to cater for the various needs of industry. It is highly skilled work and requires rigorous training and commitment.

Correct PPE is essential. We have assembled a selection of equipment that offers unsurpassed levels of safety as well as ease of use and durability. Candidates will be taught how to inspect and safely use this equipment

AWARENESS PROGRAM

Working at height is any work on, below, or above ground level where there is risk of personal injury through falling and risks to people below the work site being injured by falling objects. RAAPL AFRICA provide various working at height (WAH) trainings such as fall protection awareness, basic rescue from height and WAH awareness essential for all who engage in activities of working at height. We also provide on-site training at our customers’ locations.

Work at Height & Basic Rescue Awareness

This course is designed for providing awareness on working at height and managing rescue scenarios by the managers and supervisors who are not directly involved in performing these activities.

PPE INSPECTIONS AWARENESS PROGRAM

This course is deigned for supervisors and managers to make them aware of the role of PPE in protecting a
person’s safety, its inspection, care & maintenance.

Working at height awareness program

This course is designed for managers and supervisors who are not required to work at height, but are responsible for employees & contractors working at heights on their site

Confined space competency program   

This competency program is designed for Site Supervisors and Specialist Workers who supervise, enter, work and exit confined working spaces as part of their work process.

Fall Arrest and Rescue Management

This course is designed to give new tower climber the necessary knowledge and skills to identify various hazards, use suitable Fall Protection System to safely perform work at heights and carry out a basic rescue of a fallen and suspended co-worker.

Indus-Certified Height Climber & Tower Erector (CHCTE) 

This Indus competency program is designed for riggers who are required for performing work at height activities in their daily work place operations.

 

Work at Height competency program

This competency program is designed for technicians and operators who are required for performing work at height activities in their daily work place operations.

Competent Tower Erector & Climber

This competency program is designed for workers who are engaged in tower erection procedures & climbing. This program will help them to understand safety measures and apply them in the process.
